Harbour City Recruitment is working with a highly regarded private health clinic to source an experienced Medical Receptionist for a short-term leave cover.

This boutique clinic provides an exceptional standard of care to senior executives and corporate clients, with a small patient load and a strong emphasis on professionalism and discretion.

Please note: Proficiency in Genie practice management software is essential for this role. Only applicants with recent and confident Genie experience will be considered.

Responsibilities Include:
• Meet and greet patients in a calm, professional manner
• Monitor and respond to a high volume of emails and incoming calls
• Diary management and appointment scheduling
• Billing, Medicare processing, insurance and corporate invoicing
• Prepare, format and send health reports and referrals
• Maintain clinic presentation and support doctors with day-to-day requests
• Perform a wide range of admin tasks using Genie (reports, letters, labels, pathology, etc.)

What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in a medical receptionist or medical team assistant role
• Confident, up-to-date user of Genie software – this is non-negotiable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail, especially when managing sensitive health data
• Reliable, organised, and able to work autonomously in a professional environment
